THE COMMUNITY TABLE

Bring the Cafe to your community

Serious education can still feel like a conversation around the table.

Financial Learning Cafe workshops are designed to make practical financial subjects approachable without turning education into a sales presentation. Learners can ask questions, use curriculum, and build understanding in a warm setting created for participation, dignity, and trust.

The partnership purpose

Education—not lead generation or financial product sales.

Financial Learning Cafe partnerships are designed to help people better understand financial decisions. The curriculum may support workshops, learning cohorts, employee education, youth education, community access, books, courses, and educational resources.

Who can bring the Cafe closer?

Partners already trusted by learners and communities.

Each partnership should reflect the audience, educational need, delivery capacity, privacy requirements, and responsibilities of both organizations.

Potential partnership paths

Build the educational model around the community’s real learning need.

Programs are educational and should be scoped, documented, and delivered without promising personal financial outcomes.

01

Community Workshop

Use a defined lesson or Learning Program for a live educational experience.

02

Learning Cohort

Guide a group through connected lessons, workbooks, discussions, and completion milestones.

03

Curriculum Licensing

Use approved Financial Learning Cafe books, courses, or toolkits under a written educational agreement.

04

Sponsored Access

Provide properly documented educational access for a defined group of learners.

05

Employee or Member Education

Offer practical education through an employer, association, church, financial institution, or community organization.

06

Curriculum Development

Collaborate on age-appropriate, community-specific, institutional, or translated educational materials.

Partner compliance standards

Describe Financial Learning Cafe accurately.

  • Present Financial Learning Cafe as education and curriculum publishing
  • Use approved program names, descriptions, prices, and disclosures
  • Direct learners to relevant education—not a promised outcome
  • Keep membership, mission support, and outside services distinct
  • Disclose referral or compensation relationships when applicable
  • Protect learner privacy and avoid collecting unnecessary sensitive financial information

Partners may not market Financial Learning Cafe as

A shortcut, guarantee, or disguised financial service.

  • Debt elimination, debt settlement, or debt negotiation
  • Credit repair or guaranteed credit improvement
  • Guaranteed debt validation or account deletion
  • Guaranteed funding, loan approval, or business credit
  • Legal, tax, investment, or individualized financial advice
  • A lead-generation funnel for a financial product or provider

Introductions and outside-provider clarity

Permission comes before connection—and education remains valuable either way.

When appropriate and with the consumer’s permission, Financial Learning Cafe may introduce a learner to an independent resource or provider the learner chooses to investigate. Any provider remains responsible for its own eligibility standards, decisions, prices, terms, agreements, disclosures, administration, servicing, qualifications, conduct, and services.

If a compensated relationship exists, it must be reviewed and disclosed as required. An FLC educational purchase does not require, buy, or guarantee an introduction or provider product.
